FAQs

What will I find in a pauline alice pattern envelop?

You will receive the full size pattern printed on normal paper (no tissue paper that tears so easily) and the instructions booklet in multiple languages (English, Spanish and French) with illustrations and step-by-step instructions.

If you order a PDF pattern, you’ll receive the pattern and instructions files in the selected language on your personal User account. See the question “How to print the PDF pattern?” below to get more details.

What size do the patterns come in?

The patterns are available in multiple sizes from 34 to 48. You will find a sizing chart in each pattern page (and finished measurements in the instructions booklet). If you are between sizes, it’s very easy: connect the lines between the different sizes.
Remember that it’s always better to make a muslin (or toile) to check the fit of a pattern before cutting your final fabric.

Pauline alice patterns are designed for a B cup bust and an average height of 1,65 m.

What countries do you ship to? What is the shipping cost?

We ship to all the countries of the world. Consult the shipping cost and delivery time for more details.

How can I pay?

You can pay securely by PayPal or Credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express).
Once your order has been placed, you’ll receive a confirmation email, either to the email associated with your PayPal account or to the email you type in manually.

How do I print the PDF pattern?

To print your PDF pattern, go to your customer account and enter your email and password. In “my downloads”, you’ll find all the PDF patterns you ever purchased. Clic on the downloadable link and save the .zip file on your computer. As this is a compressed .zip file, you might have trouble visualizing it on your tablet or mobile phone. Open the files with Adobe PDF Reader (it’s free, you can download it here!). Select the FULL SCALE option before printing (also called Real size, 100% scale, no scaling…). The instructions will tell you where to find the test square: measure it, it should be 10 cm x 10 cm. Cut along the border lines and tape the pages together according to the marks (1A with 1A, 1B with 1B…). And then select your size, cut directly the pattern or trace it (follow your own preference) and report the pieces on the fabric.

What level can I expect from the patterns?

We have sewing patterns for beginners as well as advanced seamstresses. We try to incorporate some intermediate technics even in the beginner patterns, but always as an option. That way, you can always progress and learn new tricks!
We also believe that tutorials are the best way to learn so check the blog to find photo and video tutorials of the patterns. No need to be afraid, even if you’re a beginner!

Do you sell wholesale?

If you are interested in selling our patterns in your shop, please contact us. We would be happy to discuss it with you.

Can I sell garments I make with your patterns?
